Q: No installation guide is posted on your site. There is no reference to valve connections. Can third party connections be used? There is no reference to power supply for LEDs – how is this accomplished? Is the LED transformer positioned independently of the shower (and if so, distance limitations?)?

Yes, you can use different valve. LED works based up on the water temperature there is no manual control.
