Shower heads are an indispensable part of a modern bathroom. The look and style of the showerhead plays an important role in augmenting the beauty of the bathroom. Thus, the large shower head selected should be proportionate to the size of the bathroom.
We, at Juno Showers, have an extensive collection of large shower heads for your bathroom. Our shower heads range from 20-inches to 40-inches and are either ceiling mounted or recessed type. They are available in a wide range of finishes from chrome to brushed nickel and oil rubbed bronze.
GPM or Gallons per Minute refer to the flow rate of a showerhead. It stands for the amount (measured in gallons) of water that flows out of your shower per minute. The GPM of a showerhead can range from 1.5 to 2.5 depending on the type and model. But under no circumstance should the GPM exceed 2.5 gallons. This is a federally mandated flow rate. This rate is fixed to control the consumption of water and energy.
There are different ways you can increase water pressure in a shower head. First, you should ensure that your shower head is clean. You can use a mixture of vinegar and water to clear the blocks and remove sediments. If you live in an area with low water pressure and if flow restrictor is installed in the showerhead, then it can reduce the water pressure considerably. If this is the case, you should remove the flow restrictor so that the water pressure can be improved. You should also ensure that there are no curves or bends in the water line which would bring down the water pressure.
